Hollow Wall Anchor is designed for use in hollow or cavity walls such as drywall, hollow brick, and cavity blocks where traditional expansion anchors cannot achieve adequate grip. The anchor features a spring-loaded mechanism that opens behind the wall surface as the screw is tightened, creating a positive stop against the inner wall surface. This distributes the load over a wider area compared to simple friction anchors.
Step 1 - DRILL
Drill a hole of the specified diameter through the hollow wall material.
Step 2 - INSERT
Insert the hollow wall anchor into the hole until the flange contacts the wall surface.
Step 3 - TIGHTEN
Tighten the screw to collapse the anchor body behind the wall and draw the legs against the inner surface.
Step 4 - SECURE
Continue tightening until the anchor is fully expanded and firmly clamped to the wall.
Step 5 - VERIFY
Gently pull on the fixture to verify that the anchor is firmly set.
